With this new opening, Meliá Hotels International strengthens its commitment to the Canary Islands region, where it has 19 hotels, and continues to promote renovations that enhance the customer experience based on its commitment to quality tourism.
Promoted by Atom Hoteles Socimi, owner of the property, and managed by GMA Corporate as part of its asset repositioning strategy, the renovation involved an investment of close to 4 million euros.

The gentle Atlantic breezes and the volcanic magic of northern Tenerife welcome the new Meliá Costa Atlantis, which reopens its doors this year after its transformation to become part of the Meliá Hotels & Resorts portfolio. The hotel, which until now operated under the umbrella of the Sol brand, has been completely renovated to make way for a new stage that elevates the guest experience and consolidates it as a reference of hospitality, wellness and connection with the Canary Islands’ natural environment.

The comprehensive refurbishment, led by GMA Corporate and part of a strategy to enhance the value of the portfolio of Atom Hoteles Socimi, the owner of the property, involved an investment of almost 4 million euros to reposition the establishment. With it, Meliá Hotels International has integrated the concept and attributes of one of its most recognized hotel brands, thus continuing its commitment to the main holiday destinations and its commitment to quality tourism.

Located in the heart of Puerto de la Cruz in front of the emblematic Martiánez beach, the hotel offers spectacular views of both the Atlantic Ocean and the majestic Teide, connecting guests with the island’s scenic and cultural essence. With this reopening, Meliá Costa Atlantis becomes the first establishment of the Meliá brand in the north of Tenerife and one of the major drivers of quality tourism in the area.

The hotel has 290 rooms, including 80 The Level rooms, Meliá Hotels & Resort’s exclusive superior service, and 2 presidential suites, all redesigned under an elegant, modern and functional concept. The hotel also has extensive facilities for all types of events, including 6 meeting rooms with capacity for up to 500 people, ideal for large presentations and conferences. for congresses, seminars, business meetings and social events.
