Our strategy

AT GMA we are continuously monitoring hotel markets for potential investments. In over 20 years we have generated extensive market knowledge and strong relationships with the world’s largest hospitality brands, destinations, investment banks and advisors, among others.

We always invest in all the investment vehicles we manage. We primarily focus in buying assets at the right time of the cycle to provide strong returns for our investors.GMA has invested in different types of hotels including, mid-market, full service, upscale, luxury hotels and resorts.

Our main investment vehicles


ATOM HOTELES SOCIMI S.A is a publicly listed SOCIMI (Spanish REIT) focused on the hotel industry in Spain. Incorporated in January 2018 by Bankinter and GMA Capital, and subject to the SOCIMI tax regime. Today ATOM is the the 1st Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) in the Spanish hotel investment market, and 2nd largest hotel owner in Spain.

Atom Hoteles SOCIMI is managed by GMA, and currently owns 29 hotels , with 6.862 rooms, that represent a portfolio value of more than 680m€. It focus on the acquisition, management and development of real estate assets for lease in the hotel industry.

Since 2018,  its strategy has consisted in diversifying the portfolio by striking a feasible balance between business and leisure hotels. ATOM has invested in different types of hotels including, mid-market, full service, upscale, luxury hotels and resorts.

A large percentage of its portfolio is derived from guaranteed fixed-income, which makes it more resilient to changes in the business cycle, providing stability and security to investors.

ATOM HOTELES SOCIMI S.A. began trading on the Alternative Stock Market (MAB) on November 27, 2018.


VICTORIA HOTELS & RESORTS is a company founded in 2021 by Bankinter Investments, Meliá Hotels International and GMA Capital. Through its subsidiary GMA Corporate, Victoria acts as manager of the vehicle.

The company is formed by 8 assets in prime location, totaling 1,789 rooms and suites and an asset value that will reach 400 million euros once investments and repositioning projects have been undertaken.

The portfolio is comprised of vacation and urban hotels in consolidated first-class destinations and operated entirely by Meliá Hotels International under management contracts.

The entire portfolio is being refurbished in a sustainable manner, including investments aimed at eliminating carbon footprint, as well as improving energy efficiency.
