Atom Hoteles SOCIMI has secured a new €15 million financing agreement for Hotel Alegría Costa Ballena.

This four-star hotel, located in one of the most sought-after areas of the Cádiz coastline, features 200 rooms, including 20 suites, three restaurants, three bars, 180 parking spaces, and a 7,600-square-metre water park.

During the winter season, the hotel has undergone a series of upgrades and capital improvements, particularly focused on enhancing guest comfort, including fully renovated bathrooms and room enhancements carried out in collaboration with the operator. Final preparations are currently underway ahead of the hotel’s reopening on March 29.

The financing has been structured as a loan with a fixed interest rate of 3.25% for the first year, and thereafter at 12-month Euribor plus 100 b.p. These competitive terms improve upon the previous financing structure, increase available resources for the company, reduce annual debt service, and extend the debt maturity beyond 2030, in line with the rest of the company’s portfolio.  

This marks the first bilateral financing transaction between Atom Hoteles SOCIMI and Cajamar. The SOCIMI has highlighted the speed of execution, flexibility, and professionalism demonstrated by the bank’s team, and both parties are currently exploring additional opportunities to collaborate on future transactions.
