Atom Hoteles delivers on its 2026 asset rotation plan with the sale of Eurostars Las Salinas hotel for €51 million
Atom Hoteles has completed the sale of the Eurostars Las Salinas hotel, located in Caleta de Fuste (Fuerteventura), for a total consideration of €51 million. This transaction once again highlights the strong investor appetite for assets within the Socimi’s portfolio—professionally built over the years—as well as the continued attractiveness of Canary Islands’ resort hotels for hospitality investment.
Located in Playa del Castillo, one of the island’s prime tourist destinations, the beachfront complex enjoys uninterrupted views of the Atlantic Ocean. It stands out for its comprehensive offering, combining accommodation, food & beverage, and leisure facilities, along with a commercial gallery on the seafront promenade comprising 20 retail units.
The 4-star asset (originally conceived as a 5-star development) features 223 accommodation units, including rooms, suites and villas, the latter equipped with private pools. Its facilities include restaurants and bars, a tennis court, sports areas, a children’s playground, and extensive leisure spaces, positioning the hotel primarily towards the leisure and family tourism segment.
The property also benefits from a fully equipped spa and wellness centre. Its location provides access to a wide range of outdoor sports activities and is situated just a few kilometres from Fuerteventura Golf Club and Puerto del Rosario, the island’s capital.
One of the hotel’s key differentiating features is its integrated commercial gallery, comprising 20 units that enhance the overall offering and contribute to the vibrancy of the surrounding area. The space hosts a variety of food & beverage outlets, as well as fashion and accessories boutiques. Currently, only two units remain available, in the final stage of commercialization. Among the upcoming additions is the opening of a new dining concept in the coming months, further strengthening the leisure and F&B offering for both guests and visitors.
The hotel also holds a BREEAM certification and an A energy rating, reflecting Atom Hoteles’ commitment to energy efficiency and sustainability across its portfolio.
Following this transaction—together with the most recent divestment—Atom Hoteles’ portfolio now comprises 21 hotel assets and a total of 5,265 rooms, reinforcing its position as one of Spain’s leading hotel investment platforms.
Over recent years, several assets within Atom Hoteles’ portfolio have been operated by Grupo Hotusa, including Exe Coruña, Exe Rey Don Jaime and Eurostars Las Salinas. Atom Hoteles would like to acknowledge the group’s professionalism, expertise and commitment, as well as the strong collaboration maintained throughout this period in the management and positioning of these assets.
