GMA is offering an excellent opportunity to join the team as a Retail Manager.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Responsible for optimizing the spaces of each asset, identifying opportunities, and attracting the most suitable operators.
- Collaboration with other departments (Technical, Financial, and Legal) impacting the retail area, optimizing spaces of the different assets under management.
- Facilitate communication between properties, operators, and third parties for lease management and spaces open to optimization.
- Strategically analyze each space and define its potential considering the building’s strategic plan and the premises’ value from a strategic and business perspective.
- Build a network of potential tenants for various activities compatible with the hotel sector.
- Manage negotiations and closure of contracts in coordination with Property, Legal, and Financial teams.
- Monitor market trends, operator behavior, and average prices in the relevant areas.
- Identify and optimize lease contracts for alternative uses.
- Conduct market studies, benchmarking, and needs analysis to determine the best use/service for each space.
- Coordinate outsourced and contracted operators with corresponding hotel operators for successful implementation.
- Supervise non-hotel lease/sublease contracts to assess extension or renegotiation based on market rental prices.
- Maintain databases and provide monthly and annual reports to owners and investors.
- Ensure compliance with asset Business plans in space optimization and outsourcing.

Necessary skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Technical Engineering, or similar.
- English proficiency B2.2 or higher
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Focus on managing their own business line
- Relevant experience in similar positions
